I need a new lens for my Canon Rebel XT...?
So far, Ive worked with the kit lens and a friends mm. I really love taking portraits and closeups of objects with a nice low depth of field... Im years old and have a limited budget... Im going to say anywhere under . I did enjoy the , but I was wondering if theres another lens that has better quality, and more for my area of interest? Or let me know what I should save up for? Thanks to anyone that replies!

just get yourself a EFmm F. which is one of the cheapest lens you can find on the market.just buy it and explore the possibilities of a fast lens.br brmost of the beginner will buy this lens. at mm which is about mm on your .X crop Rebel, the range and large aperture is pretty good for portraite.
